Low Fps

Hey guys i got like 45-60 fps on rust and if i lower the setings is not doing anything(i got low fps on most of the games)




Pc specs:
RTX 2070 armor 8g
I7-2600k 3.4ghz
32Gb ram (ddr3) speed:1600
 

My drivers are up to date,my Gpu usage/temp is 45%-60%/32C*-40C*   Cpu usage/tepm  50%-70%/70C*/95C*

You're getting 95C on your 2070?

Mine (2070 S) get as hot as that and, according to Zotac, it is normal.

No it is not. That's going to damage the card in not that long. Nvidia have stated that at 95C the card should turn off so as to avoid critical damagw

Your CPU is overheating

I did not remember exactly what they told me so I did some research and here it is (copy/paste) : "4. Operating temperature varies from 40c to 50c in idle. Load temperature can be from 60-90c depending on load. The thermal threshold of the card is 95c and considered overheating if it is running at that temperature in a long period of time."

In terms of temperature, 95°C on the GPU at less then full load is not acceptable, what pc case are you using and what fans do you have and where? As for bottlenecking that gpu, yes, your 2600K would bottleneck pretty much every card faster than a GTX 970 or GTX 1060.

His card is at 50% usage and 90C. That ain't normal mate

Oh well, I did not see it was not at full load. Then y'all are right. It is not normal.
