Am I the only one who doesn't like titanfall?

Before everyone decides to bring out the 2 year old in them elapse just take a second to respect the fact that we are all different and have different opinions. I may not like the game but in no way am I trying to insult it. To tell the truth, it seems a good game but just not something I would spend hundreds of hours on.

i enjoy battle field and im not hyped at all, i love shooters (other then cod but lets not start a war here) but then again its in beta and thers allot to be added

The only reason I don't like it is that I got a bug-loaded game, though it's the beta I still expect more than stupid ass lines all over my screen as well as crazy stuff happening around players.

What kind of silly question is that? Unless they made the theoretical perfect game that appeals to everyone at the same time, a lot of people aren't going to like it!

It's fun, but the Beta is very lacking in game modes and if the full game only offers COD style game modes, it's unlikely I will pay for full price or even at all.

i dont really like it maybe in the full game i might like it if they make a mode without titans because they are the things i dont like about it i always die by them its annoying as f*** even if im in a titan i can kill 1 or 2 then it blows up just annoying.

I hope they add many game modes, because for an completely online game with very little shooting mechanics you will need many game modes.

Yea sorry if I came off too harsh, cause I would play it with friends but to be honest i just don't see it as something to really grab me yet.

It really does feel different and very fast paced due to that added mobility and surprisingly i am kinda into fast pace games but idk why am not impressed here.

I like it, but I won't buy it, can't really see me getting addicted to it like I did with Cod 2 and 4.

Also the lack of dedicated servers disappoints me.

yeah there is that but ive given up bitching about games, hell id probably play even call of duty if it wasnt the only fucking game on steam which is £40 and never on sale

I personally really love it. IMO, except for Natural Selection 2, it is the best shooter since the first Modern Warfare, which incidentally was the last good AAA shooter. And even that was only good with the realism mod that removed the shitty-ass perks like martyrdom, last stand etc.

 

I personally am the 'staying alive' type FPS player, and I really love how quick you have to be in the head and how polished and alert you have to be at all times to avoid death. I also feel like whenever I die, it is because of something I did wrong, as with all the movement and tactical tools at your disposal in this game, there is no reason to blame outside influence. Even the somewhat OP smart pistol I've learned to beat down every time, now I am practically immune to it unless I'm completely unaware/ sleepy.

 

Don't get me wrong, it isn't a $60 game, and I won't be buying it until it comes down in price, but it's still the best AAA shooter out there, gameplay-wise.

 

I haven't felt this way since WarRock, the last shooter I put thousands of hours in, that too was a very agile/ quick game that punished people for sleeping.

 

I should mention though, that I almost always stay on foot in this game, rarely get in my titan except to charge it somewhere when near death to eject in a mass of enemies to nuke them. The titan gameplay is nothing special, but it is a nice "minion".
