Are there cheaper alternative controllers besides the ps4 or xbox one controller?not bothered even if they are wired. I have bought several controllers in the past several years and the one thing I noticed especially on really cheap controllers something like in the 8 to 10 dollar range they always have a bad analog stick especially the deadzone you literally have to move 2/3 on all direction before having an input and I dont think its even a deadzone since even theres a setting in game for deadzone setting it to 0 makes no difference and this really bothers me when playing fps games. I heard that the logitech f310 is good but not sure about the analog stick no one talks about the analog stick deadzone they always just say it feels good and thats what they always say even on the controllers I bought. Buying second hand ps4 or xbox 360 controller might be an option but I have no experience in checking whether what Im gonna be buying is an original one. Since theres alot of fake controllers. or are there really no alternative maybe even on 15 to 20 dollar range? not expecting premium feel on cheaper controller its just the analog stick is what bothers me the most.

The vast majority of game controllers are not really good. I say this as someone who's parent bought several different kinds just for the PC, and they all felt cheap. The best controller for the PC is always going to be a wired model, to which the Xbox 360 Wired controller is actually light, unlike it's wireless model. However I have been using it since the Xbox 360 S came out and have worn the rubber texture off the left analog stick, it otherwise still works fine. The occasional game (Star Control Origins) detects some kind of deadzone drift that other games do not.

With that said, don't waste your money on the cheap controllers. Basically on Windows the de-facto controller layout is the Xbox 360 design, so any aftermarket controllers that don't look identical to the Xbox 360 controller, are probably going to perform poorly.

i use a 360 controller , i should say that it's pretty easy to find real wired 360 controllers vs not real ones

wait there are original xbox 360 controllers? I though being wireless is one of the things that makes it original ahah, guess I was wrong. but still there are so many fake controllers even cloning the 360 controller that its hard for me to distinguish from original to fake.

The console came with wireless controllers, the wired ones were actually marketed as PC/Windows controllers, but also work on the Xbox 360.

is it really worth it, a wired Xbox one controller is 20 bucks..

then you have something that lasts, and is really great. have yet to find anything that replaces that as a GREAT controller.

is the wired version also an original or just a clone? and where did you buy it? I live in the philippines and I usually rely on local electronic store or online like lazada. I cant buy from amazon or ebay since shipping is expensive and i dont own a card for it

me too and already buyed 1 just to end up with a fake one. I looked an image on google just to compare it and looks identical but sadly it breaks after just a few days not even lasting a week also deadzone are horrible it so huge that you have to move it quite far just to register.

the wired is a original. but yes it is amazon for 20 bucks. but should be able to find it.

it is 100% the same feel as the battery one, just way lighter. was actually lighter.

Just note that the big difference with the 360 Controllers and the One Controllers is that you can't plug a wireless 360 in with the USB cable, it has to be a wired controller without a dongle or something. The One Controller, however, can be plugged in via USB cable.

But you can likely find either of them at second hand stores (Savers, Goodwill, etc.) for a few bucks. I seen some at my local Savers for 5 bucks (wired 360 controllers).

You can plug a 360 controller into a PC with a play and charge kit and the 360 wireless controller receiver.

But yeah honestly having both I much prefer the Xbox One controller. It feels much nicer to hold, and a single connection is nice.
