RTX 2070S, 2060S or RX 5700XT?

Hi,

I built a gaming pc and now I am confused which GPU to go with, I game in 1080P high refresh rate 144hz.

I want to game in 1440p 144hz, as my display is 1080p I wanna game in 1440p DSR, is it possible with the Radeon card 5700XT? Let me know.

Now, I have a few problems.

My budget is around $500 so I can afford all three GPUS.

I am mainly confused because of my CPU which is a Ryzen 1600, its a good cpu but I'm well aware it will bottleneck with all of those 3 GPUS, mostly the 2070S and 5700XT due to their extra power

Keep in mind I will overclock my cpu if necessary to 3.9ghz

So is going with the 2060S a better choice with my CPU so I get more performance and less bottleneck due to its lesser power or should I go with 2070S and 5700XT and ignore the slight bottleneck.

Im aware that 2070S has better aftermarket gpus and 5700XT doesnt. And I would also like to have ray tracing as a bonus, is it worth the extra 100 dollar over 5700XT?

Please note, I want a descriptive answer so I can understand the possibilities, note *I will not upgrade my CPU or my display at the moment*

Please help me answer all my questions.

Specs:

Ryzen 1600

AX370 Aorus Gaming K5

Trident Z RGB 16 ram

WD 1 TB

650 Watt Antec PSU

i have a 2080 with a 2700x and i'm gaming with 3 monitors, two of which are 1440p.

i get 180-240 fps in esports titles like league of legends,

i get 120-140 fps in csgo (might be a cpu problem or something else on my end)

in higher demanding game's with rtx on i get 120-150 fps, and all my settings are normally on ultra.

so depending on the games you want to play your 2070S might give roughly the same amount of fps that my 2080 is giving you, (add a little extra since my gpu is handling 3 monitors)

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

Hey thanks for your quick reply, so should I pick up the 2070S over 2060S, and also I can use DSR to upscale my games right? Should I also upgrade my cpu?

Thanks!

get a 5700 or a 5700xt. both are better values.

ray tracing won't be used for another few years.

spend the extra money you saved on a SSD and maybe a 2700x

Oh god, I dont know now 5700XT or 2070S, I think the 2070S beats the 5700XT.

I would love to get the 5700XT for 100 dollar less with similar performance but which aftermarket card should I buy?

Most of them have bad reviews is why Im scared.

I dont know where the trouble here is... It all boils down on how much you want to spend.

a 5700xt will do fine at 1080p

a 2070 super is better in most games by about 5 or 10 or 20 FPS depending on the game, and will lose to the 5700 xt in some games (although in most games the 2070 s will perform better at the aforementioned FPS rate)

So the question is are you willing to spend more for that?

Also take a look at your market because depending on where you live the price difference might be more than 100$
