i bought this drive on amazon uk new for my nas

from amazon directly

it looks it was stress tested. should i report this to amazon box seems unsealed too. it also has weird partitions out of the box. @Electronics Wizardy

Yes that is used, there is noway those partitions got there without some one pulling it out and plugging it into a computer.

definitely used . either the seller switched the new drive with a used one or this was from a wrong package by accident. either ways report it.
