desktop mobo not posting fix guide: Integrated/igpu only.

I thought my stuff was dead a few times through my build. cpu once, so heres some igpu hints for anyone else.

 

- TV/monitor sees the pc/hdmi but no picture

1. Bad hdmi in middle/bent. move the cable around and try another if possible.

 

- it posted once now 00 error

 -loose cpu power cord. check the connections.

 - if not 00 but posted then didn't may be loose other that keeps it from powering on. power off the pc, unplug, then pust the connectiond make sure theyre in well.

 

- Just wont post. even tho all components are in, and staying on.

. -This part is igpu spasific. 

   - Before you turn the pc on, make sure the monitor is on, and ON the correct source or it wont post. if it nooed to be on to swap to source, well swap to turn off pc then on, and there you go. 

 

 -I honestly thought my cpu died while building my rig. well it wasn't so hope this helps.

 

oh, abd on thet hdmi bent in middle/cable part, can cause no sound too.

main rig:

CPU: 8086k @ 4.00ghz-4.3 boost

PSU: 750 watt psu gold (Corsair rm750)

gpu:axle p106-100 6gbz msi p104-100 @ 1887+150mhz oc gpu clock, 10,012 memory clock*2(sli?) on prime w coffee lake igpu

Mobo: Z390 taichi ultimate

Ram: 2x8gb corsair vengence lpx @3000mhz speed

case: focus G black

OS: ubuntu 16.04.6, and umix 20.04

Cooler: mugen 5 rev b,

Storage: 860 evo 1tb/ 120 gb corsair force nvme 500

 

backup

8gb ram celeron laptop/860 evo 500gb
