Disk at 100% a lot of the time

Hey, anyone know whats happening ? When I open task manager my Disk is usually running at 100%, is this normal? If not is there any fix?

Specs? Have you made sure to run all updates? Do you have antivirus scanners?

Isolate what is actually doing it, load the resource monitor.

Need more info. Are you running HDD or SSD? What OS are you using? Have you checked your disk health?

I assume you are using HDD.

 

The possible reasons:

1. If it is an old system, HDD might be dying.

2. Superfetch, it is annoying and I don't know why it is running.

3. Windows update is installing on background.

 

 

If you are using SSD and it is 100% all the time... you might get some virus in your system
