Please help! I put on my side panel wrong so now it does not come out anymore

So yesterday, I need to remove my side panel due to problems with the hard drive. After I'm done with it i put on the side panel but due to me having little to no experience with computer I accidentally put on the side panel wrong. Now the side panel will not come off no matter how hard I tried to pull or pry it off.

OK this is ONE method and I don’t take responsibility for any damage here. DO NOT DO THIS if you are not experienced with hammers.

 

BEFORE YOU DO THIS make sure all cables etc are clear of the path for the side panel to slide.

 

Take a small rubber mallet and gently tap in the direction your want it to slide. Rubber mallets are perfect for jobs like this.

 

TAKE CARE AND DONT USE FORCE.
