3600 memory running at 2133?

Hi I have 32 gb of 3600 memory but it says here the speed is 2133. Is this right? Or do I need to change something. I'm a noob. I'm running a ryzen3900x and a r9 390x just for reference. Please help. And please be nice

You have to go into your BIOS and turn on XAMP/XMP/DOCP (the name for this tech depends on your board manufacturer, Asus uses DOCP, the others usually have XMP/XAMP).

That will allow the memory to run at full speed. 2133Mhz is the DDR4 base speed.

From my experience MSI calls it XAMP and if you are on the EZ Mode there will be a red button at the top where you can change it (turn it on/off)

This thread made me look at my ram speed.... Sure, enough, it was 2667 instead of 3200 even though I'm pretty sure I had set it to enable AXMP long ago... I guess one of my bios updates ended up resetting that... but didn't reset the other settings ?‍♂️

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
