Upgrading PC for work Adobe After Effects etc.

Hello, 

Here is My pc build:

CPU: Amd Ryzen 7 1700x 16mb

MOTHERBOARD: Asus Prime x370-A 

CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo Red 

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 2400 MHZz DDR4 CL14 KIT OF 4 CMK32GX4AM4A2400C14

PSU: Forton ATTX v2.4 Hydro G 750W HYDRO G 750

SSD Main for system and programs: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 

SSD Second for projects: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 

HHD for library of old projects:  WD 1TB 7200RPM

VIdeo Card: MSI AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB  (kinda old, but as I know mostly all effects in Adobe After Effects goes to ram, and video card no so important) 

 

Working on Ultrade Wide 1440p LG monittor... 

 

I had no issues with this build for almost 3 years, I got now new fresh windows , my work progressing , and projects became bigger... and system start to work slowly as its looks like or it come with new update from Adobe.. with 2020 programs. 

What I need to upgrade first ? and any suggestions in some models of hardware to buy.

dont see much wrong maybe look into upgrading the cpu to a ryzen 7 2700x or ryzen 7 3700x and the gpu could be upgraded but like you said it doesn't really matter

Thank you both guys, google ryzen 7 3700x looks like good upgrade, what about M.2. SSD 970 EVO 1T from samsung ? 

is 970 pro version with V-NAND technology do big difference ?>

it's a good idea to get a nvme ssd, but samsung ones are overpriced. look in the ssd tier list in my signature for tier b drives.
