Okay guys,

I have another challenge for you. The challenge, if you choose to accept, is to not say the F-Bomb for a whole day. This means you can't use it when talking to people in person or on these Linus Tech Tips forums. You may use any other word you like except the F-Bomb.

The challenge will commence on the 15/02/2014 so you have over a whole two days to prepare for it, if in the US or Canada and only about 7 hours if in Australia. I hope you choose to accept this challenge.

ADDITIONAL INFO

You may want to let all your F-Bombs out now if you feel you need to but obviously not on these forums as you might get a warning for excessive language.

It's is a bit annoying like when someone says "um" allot... except they are typing it which makes less sense. I can understand when saying "um" when speaking in real life because it is from nervous habit. It's empty filler.

But f-bombs are used so often now in forums etc, it's a little crazy. It's not offensive because of swearing, but because its gotten ridiculous common.

Kinda equate it to "know what I'm saying" before and after every sentence.

If it's just a word, why do people use it so often? If crap was a REALLY offensive word I think people would say that more often, that's just my opinion but I think the more offensive a word is the more popular it seems to be to use.
