For companies like Apple, products are designed and created by large groups of people made up of industrial designers and numerous fields of general and specialized engineers. You can look at job listings on Apple's website to see more specific job titles and descriptions.

I mean the people that choose what components goes into laptops or pre-build computers for company like Apple and MSI. E.g. RTX or GTX GPU, and i5 or i7 CPU.

Designers, Engineers, Marketing, Finance, and Executives all play a part in making these decisions, keeping in mind what consumers are looking for as well.

So if I did ever what a job choosing what components goes into pre-built systems, what job position would I should go for?

The job of specifically designing the look and feel of a product is Industrial Design. Though you could probably sneak your way in through the Human Factors field.

Note that these usually require college education and/or years of experience to get anywhere near a position like Jonathan Ives had at Apple when he started.

Unless you have your own company, you won't be making any of those decisions on your own. The manufacturers have teams for designing stuff. They research and balance things. Expected performance vs cost vs cooling needs vs markets.

Moved to Laptops and Pre-Built Systems. Ironically.

Apple is an OEM, maybe Compal or Quanta build for Apple. MSI is an ODM
