Is this a CPU bottleneck????

Playing red dead 2 using optimal settings:

 

CPU: i5 6402p 2.8ghz

Mobo: H110m-s2-cf

RAM: 8gb ddr4 corsair vengence

GPU: Zotac RTX 2060

PSU: vs 650

 

Possible CPU bottleneck,check the image attached

Yes that would be a bottleneck. You're CPU is maxed at 100% and I'm guessing doesn't move much?

 

May be time for an upgrade.

Something like a i5 8400 or a Ryzen 5 2600. An i5-8600K  would be perfect too.

2600 or A 3600 i'd recommend a 2600 cuz it's going for dirt cheap considering the capability of that cpu

Bare minimum a quad core with muli-threading, but if I'm being honest a 6 core/12 thread or better processor from the more recent architectures of AMD... or I guess Intel. Currently bang for buck is pretty good with the 1600AF and 2600 from AMD due to being based on Zen+ and Zen 1 Architecture. If you already know what games/programs you are using product reviews can give you a good idea of what performance to expect.

IMO Not for the wattage, but you should if your budget allows it. This psu you have is pretty shity tbh.

Although I agree with what most people say here (get a 6core Ryzen) you should also consider looking at the used market. Your board should fit a i7 7700, which should massively increase performance on the cheap and without any other new components.

Yes it does only consume 65 the 3600x consumes 95 if I remember correctly

ok so it is the grey label which is not as bad. but still, for a gaming PC, it's not a great selection. If you have some funds left over, consider a PSU upgrade too. Something like a CX550 is a good call.

The Thermal Design Power known as TDP is not a measure of a processor's power consumption.

I know what TDP is lol I was saying that the stock TDP is 65 based on branding thanks for telling me either way lol
