Do you connect via wireless now to your network or via wire?

If you connect wirelessly now you'll need one as the board doesn't have a wireless adapter built in.

I was using pcpartpicker and I saw one section that called for a sound card. I was wondering I’m my pc would need one or if it would be built in. This is the pc in question.

Pretty much every motherboard these days comes with sound cards built in, and they're usually pretty good. There should be no need to buy an additional one.

I was using pcpartpicker to see if all of my parts would work with each other and I saw a section for wireless adapters. I was wondering if I needed one for my pc? This is my part list for those wondering.

Do you need WiFi or are you using a cable to get internet?

If you use WiFi: You may need an adapter

If you use wired (which you should, to be honest): you don't.

What headphones/speakers are you using? You likely don't need a soundcard.

These headphones use USB on PC, so a soundcard is not needed at all for these. You simply connect them to one of the USB ports on your motherboard.

Have you bought the PC already?

No, I’m finalizing the parts. If you’re talking about the case then yes

This build uses a different CPU, which would be better for certain applications that care more about single core speeds (like gaming, but the 2700X wasn't a bad choice either). Uses still a fast SSD, but twice the capacity, better motherboard and doesn't spend as much on the cooler (although that watercooler is still an option).
