Your thoughts regarding the Ragnarok 2 SEA issue?

For those who haven't heard the news, here's the summary of what happened. Ragnarok 2: Legend of the Second was released this January 3, 2013. The first scheduled OBT release was December 27 *or 28th* but they moved it since the servers was unstable back then. January 2, 2013, they have suddenly announced a region ban for non Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam players which obviously caused rage and hate.

They have allowed non-SEA players to stress test their servers during December 27th to January 2nd. They have never announced a massive IP block on their first supposed launching on the 27th.

Dear Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd.,

How dare you. How dare you alienate my friends who spent countless number of hours on your stupid game helping you stress test and supporting your *oops* lying a5s. How dare you make a farce out of them.

Everything that you have done from 27th Dec till now shows how unprofessional of a company you are:

1. Unprecedented delay of the OBT for a week - you even had the audacity to prepare a banner for your late release, instead of fixing your sh;tty servers. Way to go in terms of priorities. Accountability = 0.

2. Clamouring for 100k likes, while doing nothing to prepare for it. If you are so hyped on amassing such a large playerbase, you should jolly well get the necessary equipment to support that you foqing cheapskates.

3. Blatantly exploiting players by withholding crucial information. You intentionally withheld the info until 1 day before commercial(cash shop) release, just so that you can abuse international players by misleading them into helping you test and report bugs, and then shoving them aside like used condoms. Way to go in terms of 'high ethical standards'.

4. Utter lack of integrity. Your dishonesty is really baffling. It is SO OBVIOUS that no such announcement was made on the 26th, which shows that there were no prior thoughts of a ban. It was only after the massive fiasco on 27th that you realized your sheetazz servers couldn't handle the load, that this week, you've thought of a brilliant 'solution'. What easier way to solve this than to block off thousands of the playerbase, under the lame excuse of regional licenses (that were not apparent on the 27th). It's so convenient to milk players (100k is delicious booty), and when suddenly unable to do so, make lame excuses instead of upgrading your hardware. Sherman Tan is probably patting himself on his back, thinking "what a stroke of genius". You may think you are clever, but we weren't born yesterday, Sherman Tan.

5. Raising the cooldown of resurrection from 5 to 50 minutes. In a game where 3-5 min resses in kRO2 makes the raid just sufficiently manageable (keep in mind that seaRO2 mobs are harder), you have discovered a wonderful way to excel at your role as a cash cow - increase the cd of a bread and butter skill and making a cash shop substitute with lower cd. Hahaha. Keep in mind that 50min cd is EXCLUSIVE to seaRO2.

Why not feature that in your info section, since you are so proud of it. I'm sure any damage that this additional advertisement brings is completely overridden by your huge profit margins from the sale of Spinel.

6. Sound packs. You can't even be bothered to translate korean voices to english. So much for an excellent Engrish service.

7. Announcement made via fb twitter instead of main site and proper channels. Well, as a company which simply does not operate by the basic tenets of logic, it's no surprise that the main website only gets essential news hours after posts on social networks, or not at all. What a huge joke.

8. False advertising is in fact ILLEGAL so there could be some serious ramifications from this, especially since it involves over 100k people. Not to mention, the people who purchased RO2Cash with real money but cannot use this service have been scammed. This is fraud and should not to be taken lightly.

You are a sorry excuse of a company and a blight upon humanity. Everything and every game you have managed so far has gone to waste, ranging from maple to kongkong to cabal. The lich that your company is is highly skilled at laying waste wherever its virtual feet tread.

Also, it is clear that you have an exceptional knack at pissing off hundreds of thousands of people simultaneously at once. That is truly a feat that few can muster. Congrats on your exceptional skills.

Anyway, I'm tired of listing all these peeves as it is unlikely that Asiasoft will even read it. At the risk of sounding whiny and pedantic, I would just like people to be aware of how, on what sheer level has this company has disappointed and failed the expectations of hundreds and thousands through its bogus claims and unprofessional conduct.

Legally, there is nothing we can do against Asiasoft as a company as they are protected by their terms and conditions, even though it is clear they have misled plenty of people. The only solution is to boycott all Asiasoft products and to spread awareness of how miserable they are.

To those people who think this is simply about a proxy and whatnot. No, this is more about how this company has utterly failed on all grounds, be it virtual, social, moral or ethical. And that people should never take this sort of *oops* from such scum of the earth.
