Is 450W PSU enough?

lka

In my local store where i bought my pc they told me a 450W PSU is enough and everywhere on the internet they said the same,so I'm asking here aswell.

I have:

AMD RX570

Ryzen 3 1300X

8GB DDR4 2400Mhz

I even used 3-4 online PSU calculators and they said the same 450W PSU is enough.

Yes, a decent 450W PSU is more than enough to power your ~200-250W PC. The more important part is getting a decent PSU, and not a random crappy one.

If you are using a quality 450W unit, yes 450W is enough.

RX 570 is around 170W, Ryzen 3 1300X around 100W (the latter number is for the full system during a Cinebench CPU run).

The rest of such a system will use very little too. So a quality 450W unit is good.

Absolutely. Take a look at this Corsair CX450 unit. These are the best value PSU's in my opinion. They're reliable as hell and will provide more than enough power to suit your needs.

Since I'm living in Serbia i can't buy from newegg,amazon,ebay,etc....

I got recommended this PSU in the store 450W Falcon FLC-450L.

Is it any good?

I dont know this particular PSU, but you can use this rule of thumb:

Check the PSU sticker and multiply the 12V rail with the rated amperage. Ex: 12V with 30A is equal to 360W.

Some PSUs (the really shitty ones) claim to be "x watts" but are waaay lower, so just check that.

I use a legit 430W with my overclocked r5 2600 and overclocked rx 580.

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.

The sticker says 12V 12A which is equal to 144W?

Who ever recommended that one should get fired. He either does not know anything about the stuff he is selling or he is trying to sell pure garbage.

A lot of PSUs have more than one 12V rails.

If this one has only one 12V and its just 12A, than its super duper crappy
