Definitely XBOX 360 wired controller (cable is really long so it's perfect for couch gaming as well if you're into that), most games work straight out of the box just plug in and play. Plus it's not too pricey compared to other alternatives like Logitech F710.

IMO, the dualshock 4 is superior to the 360 controller.  you might have to get used to the level joysticks though

ive been using 360 controller since late 2005

By far a mouse. Your accuracy will be complete junk if you use an xbox or playstation controller on pc. There's a reason why they use aim assist for FPS games on consoles, it's because you can't aim well on a controller.

The only reason I would ever use a controller is for platformer games.

The PS4's controller. It's a shame we don't have many controller options for the PC.

Controllers are great for racing games and 3rd person action games though. OP, get an Xbox 360 controller. Kind of expensive, but they're built really well and are really comfy. Plus, native Windows support is a bonus.

We have more than console players do. :P

That is true. We also have better games. There are only a select handful that are on console but not on PC. It would be nice though if we could get every game that was made on console even if it was an exclusive. If the ports where really good the PC version would be much better. It's a shame that there are to many devs that don't understand how to make a PC port.

Xbox 30 controller for sure.  Really easy to just plug and play with, and it has a long cable which is perfect for guys that use Controllers for their PC games.

I personally use one because I used to live in the dark, grimy basement of console gaming, and I had gotten used to playing games such as Fallout 3 with an xbox 360 controller.

Then, everything changed when the fire natio-... I mean I moved into the other grimy dark basement next door, PC gaming.

That is when I realized that it would be far easier to continue playing my beloved fallout 3 on my gaming rig with my xbox 360 controller, rather than to attempt the lengthy process of ridding myself of the consolitus from my hands.

(This is pretty much the only game I use a controller for though)

I like those Afterglow xbox 360 controllers, around $30 and good quality.

You can turn off the annoying LEDs too.

I bought one last year and I'm still happy with it.

Old shit no one cares about but me.

I use the Xbox 360 controller too. Feels good in the hands, and its great for the few games I play regularly (NBA 2K14, Recettear) and games like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Devil May Cry: DMC when they came out

Real men play on a laptop touchpad.

a guy in my swtor guild used to play with a touchpad. my raid lead and I couldn't figure out what his problem was for the longest time till we grew the balls to ask the dreaded question "why are you so bad"

and my pref is for controller all the way. I dislike keyboard and mouse opting for an n52 and mouse. would ditch the mouse if there was a new interface.
