So who / what started the whole RGB revolution?

Runemane

So as title, who / what started the whole RGB thing?

Case modding in general goes back way far, I remember taking my PC side to school shop and cutting it out and fitting a perspex window so I could put in some old school blue cold cathode lights, and that was 15-20 years ago already!

But when did RGB kick off?

Many consider it to have started a bit after the crappy RGB keyboards startet coming out. Corsair Gaming K70 RGB, Razer Blackwidow Chroma, G910, Apex M800 etc, in 2014-15. Then the RGB craze spread to everything else.

As pricing dropped most likely, and it became easier to implement.

It's a massive cost savings for most companies across a wide variety of SKUs.

Thermaltake.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.
