A 650W quality PSU is more than plenty. What exact Corsair PSU do you have, what year version too?

Even 550w would be more than enough for your system.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Zotac RTX 5090 SOLID OC/ x2 WD_BLACK NS770 2TBs/ Corsair HX1000i/ NZXT H5 Flow

Sorry was mistaken I have a CX600 can't seem to find the year version but I've had it since 2016

If you look at the PSU, does it have a green label? As in, does it look like this? :

(or is the 'CX' gray?)

If it's a green-label PSU, I would not recommend it.

The Tier list names it a tier C unit:

Quote

Tier C - Recommended for entry level desktops, low profile HTPCs, Office desktops, preferably GPUs with no external PCI-e power connection.

It would probably work, but I can't with good conscience say I recommend it.

Even 550W would work just fine. The Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 970 are quite efficient.

A current CX550, TX550M, Be Quiet Pure Power 11, etc. would all work fine
