Yes! But when using 2x SSD your GPU will run at 8x (not that this is the end of the world)

Your GPU will run at 8x (not a big deal)

First M.2 will run at full speed (4GB/s max, which is more than the M.2 does)

Second M.2 will run at 2x speed (which is 2GB/s max, while the SSD can do up to 3.5GB/s read/write from memory).

Thank you for your responses, could you clarify what you mean by GPU run at 8x? 8x what O.O @DoctorNick @minibois

PCIE has different generations and speeds.

You currently have PCIE generation 3.0, which can run at 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x.

The long and short is that PCIE 1x does 1GB per second of datatransfer (rounded up for ease). 2x does 2GB/s, etc.

So your GPU will run at 8x, thus max 8GB/s instead of the normal 16x/16GB/s. But with current videocards, that is not a difference in performance you will notice.

(this is 3 year old at this point, but still kinda valid).

The second SSD will run at 2x, thus 2GB per second max (instead of the 3.5GB max read it can otherwise reach).

8x pcie speed (16x is full speed) But no GPU is utilizing full 16x at this time, so no big deal, you won't feel a difference) - You wanna use the 1tb SSD for M.2 slot 1 (Top) and 256 for slot 2 (Buttom). Like @minibois stated.
