i am looking at this card: Asus HYPER M.2 X16 CARD V2 Link To asus site but i could not find if i can use it on my Asus z170 pro gaming MB just so i can expand my m.2 slots, i don't need to boot from it

 

Hopefully you can provide me with enough information because the site itself doesn't

How many drives do you want to use?

 

I don't think you can use 4 drives on there as intel doesn't support x4 x4 x4 x4 on 115x chips

 

What slot do you plan to put it in?

i've got a 1080 in slot 1, and plan to put it in slot 2. i want to use 2 m.2 drives with software raid
