Xbox controller stick drift

I'm probably too late, but your only options are probably: 

- spraying compressed air into it (like into the crevice between the stick and controller). That will be a temporary fix at best.

- taking it apart, cleaning the mechanism and thunbstick

- consider RMA'ng it! Probably do this before the second option.

If it's a couple years old it's likely due to be replaced. They don't last that long.
