BS Bottleneck Calculator?

I'd say the best GPU you can put with a 3570K OC'd is a 970, so 1650S/RX 580 seems to be the upper limit.

So I am getting an upgrade from a Quadro FX-1800 to something better. I currently have a 3rd Gen Intel Core i5-3570k. Now A website told me that it would bottleneck a variety of GPUs such as the RTX 2060, GTX 1660 Ti, GTX 1660, GTX 1650 and even the RX 570. Is my cpu really that bad or is that website just telling me BS in trying to convince me to get an i7-3770k? When I try it with an i7-3770k, the bottleneck of the RTX 2060 drops from 42 to 18 percent. If anyone would also be able to tell me would the RTX 2060 actually get bottlenecked much my my i5-3570k, I would really appriciate it! Otherwise, I would also enjoy some gpu reccommendations, thanks :)

no the i5-3570K is old by now and it only has 4 cores and 4 threads and most demanding open worlds games for example will eat it alive and you'll get massive stuttering in some cases and you'll not be able to enjoy your new GPU as well as you should.

 

I7-3770 is a lot better, but still for modern gpu and modern gaming you want better...ryzen 2600 for example is cheap and it's a lot better...i7-4790 is the lowest i would go with RXT 2060 personally.

there are games that a 3570k wouldn't run on 1080p/60fps, so it's technically a bottleneck for many modern games regardless of gpu, not sure how accurate the calculator itself is though.
