Ryzen 5 1600 with wraith stealth

Fasauceome

I noticed that data for the Ryzen 5 1600 with the wraith stealth is pretty scarce. There's no reason why it shouldn't work, so if you pick up a stealth to go with a 1600 you bought that didn't come with a cooler, here's what it would look like.

System:

First I ran an extended Aida64 stress test with the default fan curve on this motherboard.temps.thumb.PNG.4ea38406aa4095bc740f65ff5fd8f343.PNG

Using Ryzen master to verify temps, the CPU was steady at around 84 degrees Celsius after 20 minutes, and the temps didn't change from there.

Then I ran overwatch with an uncapped framerate to get a more realistic load.

Got around 250 fps on average, and the temps didn't break 70.

Thankfully this combo works super well, I didn't check the RPM but this rig was very quiet.

As you can see, only one case fan is being used. I left it at the bottom to improve GPU temperatures, and the results speak for themselves, an extra fan would not be necessary.

The budget for this PC was $550 and I came under it quite nicely with a used CPU and GPU.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I'm doing an node 202 build with this on a 1700- so this is decently comforting.

Thanks!

Yeah the spire included is better because it's larger with a copper vapor chamber. Like I said, if you buy a used 1600 that doesn't have a stock cooler this proves that it's viable

Tbh every AMD stock cooler is decent, even the one I'm about to get with 3600 is small but keeps it nice and cool.

Somewhat related @tiggar47 buddy is getting a 3700x and using a noctua dnh15

And he's giving me the wraith prism rgb and I'm gonna swap it over my 1600 instead of the normal spire

It should allow for more aggressive OC (despite sig, I dropped it down to 3.8 last summer)

Actually I used a prism to OC a 2600 to 4.1 all core so I can say for sure that it'll do quite well
