Best motherboards for R7 3700X and i9 9900K

I'm considering upgrading my cpu and I think I'll either go for a Ryzen 3700X or a i9 9900K/KF/KS I just haven't decided how much money I want to spend yet. My main use is gaming and iirc Intel still delivers the best performance although at a high price compared to AMD.

 

What are the currently best motherboards for those 2 CPU's? A big part in choosing a motherboard is of course features but I'm also interested in things like power delivery and cooling of the motherboard components. Some boards have waterblocks but that¨s not really what I'm after, as I'm probably going all air cooling. Formfactor will probably be ATX but I haven't decided on a case yet, so that isn't set in stone, could very well go for E ATX or something.

Asus is dominating in the new x570. 

Whats your budget.

Higher end get strix x-570-e or x570 hero

mid tier  x570 prime pro or strix x570-f

Lower end x570 prime-P

 

Msi tomahawk b450 max is goof for the price, and you do not have to bios update it.

 

I do not knwo about intel processors that much, but for the i9 price get Ryzen 9

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

Are you sure I should go for R9 when looking for gaming performance? Which R9 cpu then? I have no experience using Ryzen so I have no idea.

Would it really be better for me though. The price of a 9900K is less than the 3900X. Although I'm not sure ho motherboard prices are these days.

I would get a 3600 or 3700X and just put the rest of your money towards your graphics card.

I have a 2080 Ti. I don't think I need a new graphics card
