WHY? Just let me pay to watch the shows I actually care about. I don't care about your other shows damnit.

Because if they can bundle 10 garbage shows with every good one, they can sell all their bundles and effectively charge you for every show rather than just the ones you actually want, thus avoiding the need to actually compete in the market and provide good quality content.
