Avoid the xfx thicc 2, msi evoke and mech, and the reference cards.

the XFX THICC 2 is only bad because it was marketed as a $460+ card. Now it's $400-420, much more reasonable. Not that I prefer it over the Pulse or Red Dragon still

Of what, word processing??

Gaming, Doom, Wreckfest... Ok latest sessions it's increased to about 100 degrees... but not quite as terrible as the reviews make out. Although I am considering replacing the heat 'spreader' on the vrms for more beefy heat sinks.

100°c is hotter than my overclocked overvolted stuff on the reference card. That is in fact very bad.

Yeah... I've had asus cards before, and they've been rock solid. This is a bit disappointing tbh... but hey I made a choice if it fails completely it'll be under warranty. But I am considering additional heat sinks.
