Depends on what games you play and at what resolution? Personally if your considering a 2060 then i would just jump to the 2060 super (on nvidias side) or the 5700 non-xt, imo the 2060 isn't worth it now.

A used 1070 is the best value, otherwise the 2060 is the call.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

The 2060 seems to be coming in around $350.

The 1660 Super just came out and is arguably better than the 1660ti at about $230.

The 1070 is still $400+ if you can find them new.

Since none of them are the same price range, I'll simply suggest 5 things to look at.

1) $500 nVidia 2070 Super

More money, much more future proof because it'll work reasonably with 4k at lower but playable fps, and great at 2k resolutions.

2) $420 AMD RTX 5700 XT

Get a partner model, not the blower, unless you're going to watercool any card you get anyway, so don't care.  Easily outperforms the 1070 by a lot in everything, and keeps up with the 2070 Super in some things, but not all.  Everything 2k is great here.

3) $330 AMD RTX 5700

Solidly between 2 and 4, good value proposition.  Can do 2k reasonably and great at 1080.

4) $230 nVidia 1660 Super

This is the basement of the cards to really consider.  See recent review comparisons by gamersnexus.

5) AMD RX570

Commonly found on sale well under $200, but also only a good option for current 1080 gaming.

for 1080p - rx 580 or wait for that hyped rx 5500 release

for 2k - 1660S or 2060

for 4k - 5700xt, if we take into count that amd needs 2 years to utilize its finest out of cards, this card will age well, or take 2080

Just my suggestions

the 1660 super annoucement made 1660 ti bad value, although none of the cards would be futureproofing, if you are going for the 2060, spend 50 more for the 2060S, more ram and room for DXR on 1080p.

used 1070 would be my pick here,

Enjoy your new GPU! It should cover you nicely for the next 4+ years. (also, you forgot to mention that it's an XFX manufacturer)

I got the 3600X (Don't ask) and I teamed it up with a 1660ti...annoyed that the 1660 super came out recently but hey that happens with PC's.
