aio pump problem with connectin aio pump to mobo

Hey guys. I was mounting my cooler master ml360r rgb aio to my pc. I ran in the few problems, but i solved all of them except one.

I have 3 pin aio pump connector in my 360mm aio pump. (photo below). And my mobo only has 3 4pin header. (photo below)

One hour surfing internet i found out that i can connect my 3pin pump connecton to 4pin fan header on my mobo, but it wwill run at 100% speed, because the last pin is used to control them.

So my main concern is that, what from the 4pins is the last one? The far right or the far left one?

normaly there is a big tab on the mobo that slots in to the little tabs on the plug

the photo of the mobo is blurry so i can't see that well

and you might have to go into your bios and change that 4pin connector on your mobo from PWM to DC so it knows it has to feed a dc connector from your aio

usually there is a header labled "AIO PUMP" on your mobo or descripted as such in your manual. if not:

 

on your second picture, use the right connector of the both upper two. from that connector the most left pin stays unused while the two little "horns" (sorry not a native speaker ^^) on your 3pin face upward. there should even be a plastic thingie that prevents you from inserting any way else.

Ty, i was able to plug it in the spot you mentioned. I also tested to but in the other corner and it would let me. Ty

Yes but it fits only in the roght corner not the left one. So the left pin is not connected

You can see a 3-pin fan connected to the lower 4-pin header . The tab is off-center, and the connector hugs it leaving the 4th pin to the side

There isn’t a problem. Don’t need the last pin. That’s what the kit comes like that. 

Assuming that kit doesn’t use a usb connection for the control, you just need to set the speeds in the bios as well as the mobo software if you are using it.
