  1. If I could get an C49RG94SSU for 700 should I go for it? Dude from a town mear me is selling his... It would be nearly half of what a G9 would cost me edit: nvm ^^ it's gone already
  2. Wow, thank you for that very informative Post! I am at work atm, but will surely come back to you later today
  3. Thank you a lot for your input All the "work" will only be very sporadic and just for myself. So nothing critical
  4. Hello dear community As I just moved I settled on doing a rig, aswell as workspace upgrade over the course of the year. I definetly want to get a 5120x1440 screen. The both I boiled it down to are the C49RG94SSU 144hz and the odyssey g9 240hz. Both displays are about 200€ apart where I live so the choice boils down to features and quality more than price. Usecase will be gaming mostly (loads of single Player sightseeing games and the occasional FPS round with the boys), and some cad work. Do you guys recommend one over the other?
  5. thank you guys for your input! yup, messed that one up ^^ ty for mentioning it. edited now
  6. hey folks i am planning to do a new build over the course of the year. bying a graficscard isn't due till some month down the line, but as i doubt that prices will recover till then, or even this year, i thought i'll ask you all for your opinion now: so, where i live, the 3080 and the 6900XT are going for the same price (1300€) at the moment (6900 new from retail for 1300; 3080 only available from ebay and such, retail pricing, if available about 1100) if i want to play at 5120x1440 would i benefit from DLSS enough to get the 3080 over the 6900XT? as i
  7. have you tried clearing cmos? i don't know about "memory try it", but usually that works
  8. Here in Austria, today the first store had it listed.... for over 450€ tho. thats about 100 more than i expected sadly.
  9. honestly, that Segotep case looks amazing ^^ its 130€ over here and if it's built well thats worth it to me well have to look for some reviews to ty
  10. have seen this one already, but the closed off front with only a few cm to pull air on the side look like a suboptimal design airflow wise. will edit my OP to say mesh front thank you anyways
  11. hey there oh great hive-mind as i am about to move and the new layout of my desk won't allow for a regular case I'm looking for an inverted mid tower atx case. a chimney design case might also work if the TG sidepanel is on the right side of the case things I'm looking for in a new case: TG sidepanel minimalistic design good airflow/ mesh front (no closed off front, no rgb focus) psu shroud space for at least one 280 rad pricewise there are no limits as long as it's reasonable and the case justifies its price any
  12. erstmal ein herzliches servus aus österreich the software i am using is either AIDA64 or HWinfo both work fine for me
  13. Yes and no =/ Every time I start my rig it restarts. Sometimes once, sometimes several times. Sometimes a few minutes after startup, sometimes hours... But once it's stable, it's stable ^^ had it up for 3 weeks without issues XD restarted b/c of an update... One random restart, and I'm back to normal. I highly suspect some kind of whacky contact / grounding issue regarding board and or case. Will swap the board in winter (and maybe sell my rig if everything works fine. Got the itch again for a new build... Let's dee what Zen3 will bring)
