Graphics Card Solutions For 2 Systems...?
LauriHimself replied to jdalphin92's topic in Graphics Cards
are you willing to get used hardware? -

have seen this one already, but the closed off front with only a few cm to pull air on the side look like a suboptimal design airflow wise. will edit my OP to say mesh front thank you anyways

hey there oh great hive-mind as i am about to move and the new layout of my desk won't allow for a regular case I'm looking for an inverted mid tower atx case. a chimney design case might also work if the TG sidepanel is on the right side of the case things I'm looking for in a new case: TG sidepanel minimalistic design good airflow/ mesh front (no closed off front, no rgb focus) psu shroud space for at least one 280 rad pricewise there are no limits as long as it's reasonable and the case justifies its price any

erstmal ein herzliches servus aus österreich the software i am using is either AIDA64 or HWinfo both work fine for me -
Yes and no =/ Every time I start my rig it restarts. Sometimes once, sometimes several times. Sometimes a few minutes after startup, sometimes hours... But once it's stable, it's stable ^^ had it up for 3 weeks without issues XD restarted b/c of an update... One random restart, and I'm back to normal. I highly suspect some kind of whacky contact / grounding issue regarding board and or case. Will swap the board in winter (and maybe sell my rig if everything works fine. Got the itch again for a new build... Let's dee what Zen3 will bring)

Bad thermal paste application on Gigabyte RTX cards.
LauriHimself replied to ivanrcks95's topic in Graphics Cards
repasted my Aorus 2080 super Waterforce recently with cryonaut i have to say the application looked segnificantly different to yours there was a huge ammount of TIM not only the silicon was covered, but the entire green pcb piece it sits on but yes, the TIM was bonedry, and my temps since repasting are way lower before i got in the mid 60s while running furmark, now it maxes out at 54-55 -
as far as i remember those ones came with coile whine from hell, just like the GS models

assuming the tv is 60Hz a 3300x and a 2080 super should spit out 100ish frames in most titles available atm at 4k -

thank you both it's the cheapest 5" display that has an hdmi port that i could find on amazon ^^ using a hdmi ribbon cable to rout it straight back to the output -
Hello once again dear community for all of you who did not notice how i started out with my build, let me leave the link to my OG buildlog: SNOWFLAKE as many of you might know: once you start building, its hard to stop... while building this time i hit a little roadblock as i had random restarts caused by a faulty stick of ram that memtest veryfied to be good. but finally, after a long time, i present to you my upgraded rig: swapped my H110 GTX for a 115i Platinum my 2070 for a 2080super waterforce built a custom shroud for my gpu with added
