MSI B450M Mortar Max onboard graphics support

disee

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to build budged PC for work,

and i choose:

  • MSI B450M Mortar Max motherboard
  • Ryzen 3200G CPU

I'm hoping to use Ryzen's onboard graphics, but I'm little bit confused:

on one hand the manual ambiguously says it supports onboard graphics for Ryzen Gen.1 and Gen.2 only (page 15, section "onboard graphics")

but on other hand bios version 7B89v18 enables support for 3200g.

So, is it possible to use onboard graphics or not?

And optional question: Is it possible to use two 1080p displays simultaneously with this setup?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like the manual just didn't get updated with the updated support for Ryzen 3XXX. With the BIOS update it should support all the CPU features that come with the 3200G including it's iGPU.

I would not worry about that, you can update the BIOS with latest update without having a CPU installed if it's not working.

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...
