Hardware -

I7 6700 3.4ghz

Asus Prime Z270-K

16GB Corsair DDR4

GeForce GTX1050ti

New install - whenever I go to install windows I put it on a usb, the installer goes to install but then I get the No device drivers were found error, i’ve put the correct drivers from the motherboard on the boot pen all unzipped, tried on another pen still not working.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Regards

Curtis

When you're installing Windows you aren't suppose to copy your motherboard's drivers to the USB installer. It doesn't work like that. Most recommended would be once Windows finishes installing go to the motherboard manufacturers website and download the latest version of the drivers to install from the desktop.

What did you use to create the bootable USB? Windows Media Creation tool? Rufus? dd? Etcher?

Is your BIOS setup for UEFI or Legacy boot?

Not my first time and yes this is windows 7

if youre planning on gaming your specs are better suited to windows 10, even though its annoying trash.

Do you know where abouts I would find this option? Can’t seem to find it

Might be called "legacy usb support" in the advanced tab.

The xHCI option might seem like a redundant setting in this case, but it might work.

Your motherboard is UEFI. As others are saying you should move up to Windows 10. There are legal ways to do it without having to buy a key.
