Corsair iCue is just bad. Causing me problems

pumas

I mean, the software itself is good. it looks good and it has many features. But, BUT, once I put my pulling rate for my mouse to 1 ms, my games run at 2 fps literally. And once I close out of iCue they run at like 17 fps. I really need that 1ms response time because I play osu and CSGO and I just want 1 ms. Is there any way around this?

edit. I forgot to mention that before downloading corsair iCUe, I was at a constant 150 - 160 fps. And when I move my mouse now it drops it down to about 17 fps

No. ICue s*cks balls.
I gave up on it after it crashed literally any time i changed any setting. It saved the change but it crashed and when it ran it used 2 to 3% of my I7 8700K for no apparent reason.
Btw, 17 fps means each frame is on screen for more than 50ms, I am quiete sure you would not notice the difference between 500Hz and 1000Hz. If you want to controll your RGB and have your 17fps, use 500Hz pulling rate for your mouse.

Ps: I switched from 1000Hz to 500Hz a few weeks ago, to get roughly an hour more out of my Logitech G900 wireless mouse and I can't feel any difference, even with 144Hz monitor and 300+ fps in csgo.

Edit: i just thought about USB distribution. Try switching the USB port of your mouse or the internal USB port for the RGB Board.
Maybe both of them use the same USB controller and that's the problem.

Because I am old that 1ms 144hz is too fast, I use a remote controller because I am also poor and don't have a desk. iCue has a very low IQ in terms of performance. Hopefully they get them some smart-bugs resistant to dumb programming. Multi-million/billion dollar companies should be able to employ top programmers because there are some bad-ass people out there. I am not one of them :P

There is now way iCue is causing that much of an issue, I would uninstall and see what happens. My guess is something else.
