Confused about case fan RGB

Hi, I have built a new gaming rig. Everything is fine except, I don't know how to connect the Thermaltake View 37 case fans to my Gigabyte Z390 Ultra motherboard. These fans supports RGB FUSION 2.0. The case has a switch board in the back(image attached) where the three RGB fans are connected. The cable from the COM1 has a SATA connector for PSU. If I want to connect the fans from the case switchboard to my motherboard to control fan speed and RGB via software, which ports or headers do I use. Should it be connected to PSU for power or motherboard, and which port to use to connect it to motherboard for RGB control. There is one IN and one OUT port on the switch board. Okay so off your fans are there 2 connectors? One to go to the fan RGB controller and another that goes to your motherboard?

 

I am not familiar with the Thermaltake RGB fan ecosystem but I imagine it is similar to any other RGB controller (I have a Corsair RGB config).

 

In my system my RGB fans have 2 connectors, one 4-pin slotted connector that goes to the 4-pin PWM fan header on the motherboard, of which there are many (consult your manual to find which these are if you are not sure). Then another connector which goes to the RGB controller (shown in your pic). If the fans are not 4-pin and are 3-pin that is okay, they connect to the same 4-pin fan headers.

 

As for the RGB controller, again on my Corsair controller there is a USB connector that goes to the motherboard, this allows you to control the RGB functions of your fans. Then either a Molex or Sata power connector that connects to the corresponding cable coming off of your PSU to power the controller.

My Thermaltake AIO cooler has the setup you explained but I don't think there are two cables coming out from my case fans. There is one 6pin connector coming out of each fan. The three white connectors for each fan is connected to the switchboard as you can see. In Thermaltake website they mentioned the switchboard compatible with RGB fusion(image attached) but they didn't explain how to do it in the manual. Totally confused!

Might need to connect the fans right to the controller then and there may also be an RGB header. Found this, it may help:

Hi, thank you for your response. I have contacted Thermaltake support. Looks like, the fans will be connected to the controller, and the M/B-IN 5V port will be used to connect it to the 5V V.D.G header on the motherboard and SATA will used for power. I'll give it a try. Thank you again for your reply.
