So I'm pretty set on getting a samsung galaxy s10 but I keep wondering if I should get an iphone instead.

I think we need some more detail before we can make a good recommendation.

 

How important is camera quality?  Screen resolution?  Battery life?  Long-term software support?  What kind of accessories (like smartwatches and earbuds) would you like to use with it?

 

There are good reasons to get both. I'd lean iPhone because it should take better overall photos now, last longer and get much better OS support, but those aren't the only factors that matter.
