Blue and Yellow Themed LC Build w/ Rigid Tubing

weaverwacker

This is my most recent liquid cooling endeavor. My first time using Primochill's acrylic tubing as well as sleeving my own cables. I'm actually quite happy with the outcome.  ;)

I'm posting this with the hopes of getting a Build of the Week win.. it would be extremely appreciated  :P

Also, might I add that I took the pictures with a Nikon D3100 that I just purchased today. I have zero experience using a DSLR, so pictures may be sub-par. Enjoy!

Specs are as follows:

Corsair C70 in Arctic White

Intel i5-3570k

MSI z77a-g45

EVGA GTX 770 2gb (refernce design to accommodate waterblock)

Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb 1600mhz

Corsair HX750 80+ Gold

Samsung Evo 250gb SSD

1TB WD Caviar Black

Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium

Rosewill PCI WiFi Adapter (mediocre but gets the job done)

I like it a lot, oddly even with the yellow. :D  What made you go for yellow with blue, black and white though?

Nice cable management too, and how hard was it to sleeve all those cables?! Looks nice though, good job! :D

Very nice build love the Yellow looks surprisingly very nice ,only a slight thing the blue GPU power cables ,there is a place i think it's called modmytoys.com that have a clamp thing & it will tidy any cables just need to get the right 1 & this build is perfect.

realy liking the yellow it stands out very nice ,the loop structure is very well done love that a lot .

same ram&cpu as me .

not a fan of the cables going over the tubing, behind it would look much better in my opinion. Otherwise a fantastic build and if im not mistaken, a colour way which isn't used to often :D

Beautiful build. The one thing I would change is the PCI video card power cables. I would route them behind the tube for some reason it breaks up the look for me. My $0.02. Awesome work!! I would also change the window to a full clear sheet so you can see all your great work!

Maybe tie in more yellow by overlaying the psu sticker with something. Unless you were intending on yellow just being the cooling system. I appreciate the colors and piping!

DIdn't even notice that. It's olive oil with acrylic chunks in it. Basically, to get the silicon insert in the tubes, I had to lube them up with olive oil. Luckily its not conductive!

I intended to sleeve about a third of the 24 pin and PCI cables with yellow. Well, the yellow that arrived was basically transparent and looked bad /: waste of $40.00.

I imagine that yellow is tough to duplicate.

Just one question, does that 120mm rad really give you THAT much performance? I mean, why not cut it out, then you would not have that bend, and crossing tube ;)
