Old-timey GT 540m GPU

My laptop https://www.pcmag.com/review/266527/sony-vaio-vpc-f226fm-b for the past 7 years has served me well. I am however in the market for a new one, that has better; everything. I find myself looking at the HP Omen 15t/17t with a 1660ti core i7 9750H and 16gigs of ram and 144hz 1080p display 512gig SSD with 32gigs of optane. Mean while, I haven't found any reviews on either the 15t or the 17t in regards to thermals or battery life. I'm hoping someone here maybe able to answer those question, specifically in regards to the the specs mentioned.
