Asus tuf x570-plus for RYZEN 5 3600?

Is the Asus tuf x570-plus good for the RYZEN 5 3600?

I know there are better solutions but I can get a nice deal on these together.

I know about the option to use something like the b450 gaming pro carbon for around the same price but I want to be future-proof towards the next gen 4 and 5 of AMD's CPU so I can upgrade in the future.

It's a good board, should work well for even the 3700X so with a 3600 I'd say it's perfectly fine.

The Asus X570-P will also work and is cheaper.

Yes it is a good combo, but if AMD creates a new socket, the X570 won't handle ryzen 4 and 5

Don't expect 4th or 5th gen will support current motherboard as it promised that the AM4 support until 2020.

There really isn't much point to X570 TBH, and really, in some ways it's worse.

I'd just get a B450/X470 board and call it a day.

The chances of you having support for the next AMD CPU are pretty slim anyway.

X570 are overpriced, if you were doing a high end build, then I would say yea, you have money to spend.

Just get a good B450, Steel Legend or Tomahwak and done :)
