Alternative to water cooling?

I was just sent this and thought it might be a cool way to have a silent, fully custom rig without water cooling. You may have seen it before. Thoughts? Practical for a custom build? Has anyone tried it here? (basically if you can't be stuffed watching the vid he puts a CPU cooler on a GPU (GTX 460) and gets really cool temperatures

Its cheaper to sell the card and buy better/quieter/cooler, unless you have the cpu cooler and ghetto mout it

I guess the only issue is see are mounting and the size of the heatsink. Apart from that it's a pretty cool mod.
But It is only a matter of time before AIO GPU coolers really take off. I see so many people with AIO CPU coolers in the LTT forums.

Whenever somebody talks about something different in terms of cooling I immediately think of Geothermal Cooling.

That's incredibly impractical, but cool (literally).

Seen it. And no I do not think it is practical. However one can make the same argument for water cooling. If you think you can make it work you probably can.
