Games that actually run at 144fps?

Luxzio22

Most games give you the freedom of setting a custom framerate up to 300, and for the overwhelming majority of games that don't support this natively, it would only take a quick 30 second trip to the game's config files to override this manually, so you should be good.

Tell me how to fix it.

Just search Skyrim Physics bug fix. It's possible that Skyrim Special Edition(the version I use) has already fixed it automatically because I don't remember doing much tweaking to fix the physics in Skyrim Special Edition.

Hopefully I will have the resolution I like with the frame rate you like by the end of the year.

It's possible to get my frame rate by the end of today. Are you by chance a gamer that makes the mistake of playing on the unnecessary "All Ultra" graphic settings?

I've put in hundreds of hours into Skyrim and not once has this happened to me.

Then you've been playing at 60fps without realizing it. There are multiple failsafes implemented to prevent your frame rate from exceeding 60fps. You can't even get past the opening sequence at a high refresh rate. The horses pulling the prison cart start doing flips.

Fallout 76 was the first Bethesda game to properly support displays over 60hz, and they only added that via a patch later on.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

Wrong dude. I game using MSI Afterburner at all times. Pretty sure I'm above and beyond 60 fps. 60 is nowhere near as smooth as the 100+ fps I get in Skyrim Special Edition. And not once have I experienced any physics issues. I actually wish I could experience these physics issues so I can see what they look like.

Multiple failsafes? You do know you can bypass stuff like that right?

If you'll tell me a spot in Skyrim that always presents physics issues, I'll be more than happy to go there, record a game play clip and post it here showing my fps and no physics issues. My physics are fine because I've tweaked what's needed to be tweaked. Did the research back when I started playing Skyrim on PC.

Hope this helps. It's a comment intended to be helpful.

It was only a big issue with the old 2011 version.

I am using ultra on some settings but not on others. It depends how much overhead I have in frame rate.

I usually have shadows on medium, depth of field off, motion blur off and AA low. The things I like on ultra are object detail, texture detail and terrain detail.

I usually test a games for about a week before playing them and with some games after testing settings I don't play them at all.

On older games I add ENB or Reshade and sometimes both.  To give you an idea of the impact of ENB, I could run the 2011 version of Skyrim at 120fps at 1080p with a GTX 570/i7 2600k. With ENB the average frame rate was 18. It took a GTX 980 to get to 60 at 1080p and with a 2080ti I can keep frames just over 60 at 4k.

Doing this sort of thing is not for everyone and I can understand why some people think it is a waist.

I just enjoy doing it.

That is is what ultimately matters most.

Excellent. Glad to hear this. Seems more and more people are realizing All Ultra is as unnecessary as cell phones with 3 lenses or paying for cable TV.
