Is Call of Duty MW Beta Ground War system intensive?

ObilvionNizer

Hey everyone,

Me and a friend have been playing the Call of Duty MW Beta the past couple of days. We have pondered about playing the ground war mode. Does anyone know if this will be to taxing on his system?

He is running an intel 8600k, 16gb 3200MHz DDR4, 120gb ssd, 2tb hdd, and a GTX 970 reference card.

Any answer to this will be appreciated.

One important requirement is a graphics card compatible with DirectX 12. Here's the rest needed to run the game:

OS: Windows 7 64-Bit (SP1) or Windows 10 64-Bit (1709 or later).

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k or AMD equivalent.

Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB / GTX 1650 4GB or AMD Radeon HD 7950.

RAM: 8GB RAM.

And here are the recommended specs for the beta:

OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest Service Pack).

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k or AMD equivalent.

Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB / GTX 1660 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580.

RAM: 16GB RAM.

I'm assuming he's using Windows 10 with the latest updates so he should have zero issues running the game as his specs meet both the minimum and recommended requirements. Any type of issues that may arise are completely common in a beta version of any game and even upon the few beginning months of release until fixes are revealed(if issues that need fixing arise).

I didn’t try the ground war mode but I did a lot of domination. With the rig in my sig Ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 2070 I was able to stay above 144fps @1080p max settings, 100fps @ 1440p and 60 FPS @ 4K with AA turned off. I had dips at 4K but it wasn’t a bad experience at all.

I know that mode has way more players in it per match so I’m sure it will run worse. Figured I’d post this and maybe it will help you figure it out

Do you get similar dips at 4K on the lowest settings?
