Help me choose some noctuas

Butterfish

Hey guys,

I looking for some noctua's cause i really want my pc to stfu

Which would be the best option for a silence freak?

oRWwL7A.jpg?1

Noctua NF-A14 FLX - 140mm

1200 RPM, 68 CFM, 19,2 dB(A)

Noctua NF-A14 ULN - 140mm

800 RPM, 47 CFM, 11,9 dB(A)

The last one is most appealing, but i don't want too bad airflow. I will put two in front of my case. It has a thick dust filter, so pressure is also important.

They are not the same. Look at the specs before posting.

the uln is just slower, but they are basically the same fan.

They are the same fan with different ways to be controlled.

ULN is ultra low noise with 2 slow fan speeds at 600/650rpm. FLX is flexibility which is a more all around option with 3 settings at 1200/1050/900rpm. PWM is pulse-width modulation that pulses 12v and allows for on the fly fan speed changes.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

They are pretty much same like @WoodenMarker says. Besides you get low-noise adapter with FLX and PWM fans anyway.
