X570 gaming tuf wifi debug light

Go to solution Solved by lavacandy,

reset you bios take the battery out

Hello, I recently built my computer which has a ryzen 7 3700x, 32gb of oloy warhawk ram, a 500gb m.2 ssd, and a 2tb hard drive. As well as an Asus x570 tuf gaming wifi, and a r9 280x, which is temporary until my 2070 super comes in. The computer works , I know it does because I tested it before the case and it booted properly. Now I put it in the case and the debug light for the cpu stays on no matter what, I reset the computer turn off and on. The same thing. Do you guys know what's wrong?

Okay so I think I did a reset on the rtc ram and managed to get it to go to the VGA led , but the boot led also is lit up, but no post.

I did not, I reset the rtc ram. I believe this is happening because the ram isn't on the qvl.

make sure your ram is in the right spot if you have 2 sticks they should be in spot 2 and 4 i belive on that board if you have an m.2 make sure the first 2 storage cable spots are empty

Okay, I did that on top of another rtc ram reset, and it seems to work. Hopefully a bios update fixes this.

  • 7 months later...

I know I'm a little late to the party but just wanted to say thanks for the info, my 3 day old build restarted during a Windows update and I got black screen and red cpu light, thought I'd bricked it 🙁 but bios reboot by removing the battery has solved this!
