As the title of this post says, is it still a good card? I'm building my first pc and I got this one second hand, a Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 4gb that I got from a relative of mine that almost never used it. So it's basically brand new. Now I know a lot of you will complain about it being 4gb but I only intend to play on 1080p. Will it still hold for games like Borderlands 3 or let's say Cyberpunk 2077?

XD You think so? Nah like I said, I know him pretty well. He in his 40s and he only played a bit of euro truck simulator 2. Nothing to power hungry. He is a very close relative and he doesn't know much about graphics cards and stuff.

Borderlands 3 definitely, and it should play Cyberpunk as well, just at low or medium if you're amazing for 60fps.

Even if it was used for years at 100%(which I doubt), as long it still works 60EUR for it would be a amazing deal anyway. Pretty sure I've seen people selling broken rx580 for the same price.

mostly yes. maybe overclock it a little to make up for the 4gb.

wattman can be a bit confusing to use so here's a step by step:

1. open radeon software

2. go to gaming

3. go to global settings

4. there is wattman

You can get a used Vega 64 for the same price as a new RX 580, and the Vega 64 is literally twice as fast as a 580, so I would suggest a used Vega 64.

where? every vega 64 i've seen is ~$400

Yeah, it's a GREAT Graphics Card for the value! EVEN Brand new!!! And I don't think you should worry thaaaat much about the video memory being only 4 GB, I don't think I've seen video games even use that much!

I've seen some modern titles use close to or just over 6GB of Vram but that's max settings, high res textures and all that.
