Purchased an Asus Vivobook F512Da 15.6 inch laptop and iPad Air 3 with Logitech Slim Combo keyboard this summer, which in your opinion would you rather have as the main mobile work computer? I am in final year medical school and do a lot of data analysis using PSPP/SPSS in addition to the usual web-browsing and media consumption.

For me it'd be the laptop hands down. Can toss it around more without breaking it and not being restricted to iOS/iPad OS apps is a massive win in my book.

I used SPSS (useful tool, awful software) on Windows. But I don't remember seeing an iOS or iPadOS version (or its equivalent) of the app.

So a Windows/macOS/Linux based system is a no-brainer for me.

The VivoBook - no real competition - the iPad is so fragile, so limited and so locked down that it's borederline useless as a main device
