Sandisk Ssd plus 480gb recognized as HDD

Yesterday I bought my first ever ssd for my jurassic desktop. Cloned the old pata hdd, booted, resized partitions... But under Windows 10 optimization it's being recognised as HDD

The sata controllers, nvidia nforce are from 2017, no newest drivers.

An SSD is an HDD to a PC

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I've seen a thing where Windows will bench a disk and use the results of that to decide if it is a HD or SSD. Think you need to manually run what was the built in benchmark for disk to resolve if that is the case.

 

Possibly the Sandisk SSD tool might offer some help too.
