I thought it an interesting case, but a combo of the high price and limited potential means I'm not getting one.

Trying to work some things out though... is that a SFX or other form factor PSU in the bottom? I see it is fed from a DC supply.

Cooling might be a nightmare. A blower GPU seems essential as there's not really much other airflow other than two 40mm fans. And the intakes are all next to exhausts so risk of air circulation there. Unless there are other vents not obvious to me.

Still, it is an interesting design.

Its Amazing but i wish it would be made out of Aluminium that would be insane still a pretty cool idea

It's a neat idea, but $400 for a furnace seems pointless when you can get much the same effect with something like an Apevia X-QPACK3 ($60) or a Thermaltake Core V21 (...$60?!) and a few basic case mods.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

This is definitely an "airflow trap" but due to the size of the case, it's not like you're going to be able to shove a 1080ti/2080ti in it, so a lower spec system (entry level gaming) might do okay. I'd go as far to say an APU would probably do fine especailly if you flip one of the 40mm fans to intake.

Agreed, the power supply looks like an external brick similar to the Inwin Choppin.

That particular one looks rather low quality imo. However the idea is fine.

I would build the cube so the exterior is very open, with many holes and gaps. I would then have another layer of rigid dust filter behind it, painted black. This should allow ample airflow and some basic dust protection.

The interior design can be built then based on the size you make the cube.

perhaps a cheaper alternative would be to modify a cheaper 'normal' cube case. Like the Thermaltake core V21, V1 or suppressor F1.

I was wondering if it was a 12V external brick design, similar to PicoPSUs. These basically pass through 12V from the brick, and have an additional part to generate +3.3V and +5V rails.

Or, is it more of a laptop like design? Something like a 19V brick, which gets converted to 12V and other rails in the inner part? Just thinking any GPU with a power connector on it could be challenging to supply as it'll be a serious brick needed.

With an APU the GPU area would be kinda redundant though... unless you use the height to fit a better cooler on the CPU maybe.

Note this case is approx 8" cube, I see on their site they also do a 6" version. Is there much that could fit in that?

I'm not sure the details of most power brick designs. I've just seen it on the Choppin so I assumed a similar approach was used for this case.

I meant to say an APU with no GPU ?

The 6" cube version is an STX board, which does not have any way for a dedicated GPU to be mounted.
