Last time I had to deal with an Asus RMA was with a board about five years ago. This RMA went through the store I bought it from though, so I didn't interact with them directly.

 

The process of getting a new board (and having Asus diagnose it) wasn't why I would call fast.. but I guess I got a new board eventually. So I think that qualifies as average? Not fast, but got what I needed.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to using pcie4.0 SSD’s but who knows how long that will be put off now...

I'm RMA'ing my laptop, they received it on the 22nd and it's supposed to be shipped on a 29th, but they're waiting for parts apparently.

 

Support representative was nice and they provided the two-way shipping.

Desktop 1: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb DDR5 @ 6000, Asus 5090 Astral OC, x670 Asus Strix

 

Basement TV Desktop: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb DDR5 @ 6000, 4080 Super, x670 Asus Strix

 

Laptop: Dell G3 15 - i7-8750h @ stock, 16gb ddr4 @ 2666, 1050Ti 

 

Laptop 2: Intel i7 12700k, 3080TI 32gb DDR5 Ram

I have had to rma a laptop for a LCD defect in the display and a USB wireless card which both were very painless. About average turn around time on both.

 

There's always better and always worse companies but ASUS provide what was promised in a reasonable time frame so i can't complain at all. 

 

By far the worst RMA experience I have ever had was with Dell Canada and the best has to be Corsair and EVGA.
