Bios downgraded on it's own?

I just updated my x470 ultra gaming to f40 bios . I downloaded all the required things first. The bios worked fine and I used the pc for few hours. But when I turned it off and next day the bios was back to f31. It didn't crashed or anything it just revert it back to f31 for no reason. Anyone knows why this happened? Should I update bios ag?ain or wait for f41 maybe

maybe that board has dual bios ?

sometimes if there's failed overclock or some issue (ex bad memory timings set) several times in  a row, mb may switch to 2nd bios without telling you,

Yes it does have a dual bios. So what should I do. Should I update the bios again. I don't want it to revert back again. Updating bios makes me nervous.
