Audio thru Graphics card HDMI

Good Day.. :lol:

 

I have an msi 770 tf gaming then I'm planning on buying a 23" 1080p monitor with HDMI port.

Since the monitor also has a audio output jack then I'm planning also on utilizing it to connect speakers or headphones.

So now the HDMI audio from the GPU  will be used.

 

My question is "With the setup stated above will it affect the video performance of my GPU?"
Anyone here has this same setup?

it shouldnt because audio and image are 2 separate things

Yes the HDMI audio will work and no it will not hurt performance.

no your still probably going to have to have a headset or something
